MSI's latest BIOS for their Z370 Gaming M5 doesn't offer any improvements to hardware compatibility, bug fixes, or software updates. This BIOS, version 7B58v151, is a Beta version; a BIOS which add support for a "New Generation CPU" from Intel.
The release of this BIOS update confirms that new processors are coming to Intel's Z370 series of motherboards, CPUs that are likely to be part of Intel's upcoming Whiskey Lake family. These processors are rumoured to deliver up to eight Coffee Lake CPU cores on a single die with Intel's latest version of their 14nm manufacturing process.
As a BETA BIOS, MSI doesn't recommend that their users update to this updated UEFI "unless it is necessary", as the features included within will eventually be released in a release that has proven to be stable, perhaps version 7B58v15.

Intel has already leaked their upcoming 9000 series of processors, which offers up to six processing cores with their i5 series branding, lacking any i7 listings under the code name "Coffee Lake (6+2)" with the six identifying core count while the 2 signifies the unit's number of graphical processing units.
This information supports today's rumours that Intel's next-generation i7 processors will support up to eight cores in a Coffee Lake (8+2) configuration.
